Product Overview

Quartz Ramming Mass is a high-purity silica based refractory material used for lining induction furnaces in steel and iron melting operations. Made from carefully graded quartz grains, it forms a dense and durable monolithic lining when rammed inside the furnace coil. Its high silica purity provides excellent refractoriness, low thermal expansion, and strong resistance to thermal shock.

Quartz ramming mass ensures uniform heat distribution and stable furnace operation during high-temperature melting cycles. The optimized grain structure allows proper sintering during the first heat, forming a strong lining that resists erosion from molten metal and slag. This results in longer furnace lining life, improved energy efficiency, and reduced maintenance downtime.
