About Pouring Solutions
Pouring Solutions are essential refractory components used in foundries to ensure safe, controlled, and efficient transfer of molten metal from ladle to mould cavity. Proper pouring control is critical to prevent turbulence, air entrapment, slag entry, and casting defects.
Our Pouring Solutions are silica based, manufactured with minimum 70% SiO₂ content, offering good thermal stability and controlled flow performance. With adequate transverse strength (20 kg/cm² minimum) and low moisture content, these products ensure structural integrity and safe handling during high-temperature pouring operations.
Pouring Pipe
Pouring Pipe is a refractory flow control component used in foundry casting to safely channel molten metal from the ladle into the mould cavity. Its circular design ensures uniform metal distribution and controlled flow rate, reducing turbulence and preventing air entry into the molten stream.
Pouring Assembly
Pouring Assembly is a combined refractory pouring system consisting of a pouring cup integrated with a pouring pipe. It is used in foundry casting processes to guide molten metal smoothly from the ladle into the mould cavity.
Pouring Cup
Pouring Cup is a funnel shaped refractory component installed at the top of the mould in foundry casting operations. It is designed to ensure smooth and controlled entry of molten metal into the sprue system.
