Castable 90S is a premium high alumina dense refractory castable containing around 90% of Al₂O₃, designed for high temperature and heavy-duty industrial applications. Hydraulically bonded and installed through vibration casting, it provides excellent structural strength and thermal stability under extreme operating conditions.
With a maximum service temperature of 1800°C, Castable 90S is engineered for steel industry applications where superior refractoriness and resistance to slag attack are essential. Its controlled grain size ensures uniform compaction and reliable lining integrity, while the recommended water addition of 14-17% supports proper workability during installation.
Castable 90S delivers high bulk density and enhanced cold crushing strength, reaching up to 600 kg/cm² at 110°C. The high alumina content significantly improves resistance to abrasion, thermal shock, and mechanical stress, making it suitable for critical lining zones exposed to intense heat and wear.
