Product Overview
Zirconia Ceramic Foam Filter is a high-refractoriness filtration solution designed specifically for molten steel and high-temperature alloy casting. Manufactured from stabilized zirconia (ZrOβ), this filter withstands extreme casting temperatures while effectively removing non-metallic inclusions and slag particles from molten steel.
The open-cell foam structure ensures controlled metal flow and reduces turbulence during pouring. By stabilizing the molten stream, the filter minimizes re-oxidation, improves steel cleanliness, and enhances the mechanical integrity of the final casting. Its superior thermal shock resistance allows it to perform reliably in demanding steel foundry environments.
Zirconia Ceramic Foam Filters help reduce casting defects such as inclusions, blowholes, and surface irregularities. They improve yield, promote uniform solidification, and support high-quality steel production. Designed for high-temperature stability and structural strength, these filters are ideal for critical casting applications.
