Neutral Ramming Mass is a high-grade refractory lining material designed for induction furnaces used in melting stainless steel, high alloy steel, and special grades. Unlike silica-based acidic linings, neutral ramming mass is alumina or spinel-based, providing chemical neutrality and superior resistance to slag attack.

Key Features & Applications

  • Induction furnace lining
  • Carbon and alloy steel melting
  • Iron foundry operations
  • Medium and high-frequency induction furnaces

Product Overview

Neutral Ramming Mass is a high-grade refractory lining material designed for induction furnaces used in melting stainless steel, high alloy steel, and special grades. Unlike silica-based acidic linings, neutral ramming mass is alumina or spinel-based, providing chemical neutrality and superior resistance to slag attack.

It offers excellent thermal stability, high refractoriness, and strong resistance to erosion under aggressive melting conditions. Neutral Ramming Mass ensures longer furnace lining life, stable melting performance, and improved metal purity in demanding applications.
