Product Overview
Anti Piping Compound (APC) is a high-performance exothermic and insulating powder used in ingot casting to restrict primary and secondary piping within the hot metal portion. By generating controlled expansion at elevated temperatures, APC compensates for metal shrinkage during solidification and helps produce sound castings free from shrinkage defects.
With controlled bulk density, APC ensures uniform surface coverage and consistent performance across the ingot head. Its optimized free aluminium content enables controlled exothermic reaction, sustaining molten metal temperature and ensuring continuous feeding during solidification. This reduces pipe depth, improves steel yield, and allows reduction in feeder head volume.

Our APC Variants
